Lenten Devotions

Thursday March 11, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in church from 9 a.m. until 2:15 p.m.  We will close with Benediction.  High School and Grade School will be present during these hours.

Lenten Penance Schedule

Confessions:

Throughout Lent the regular times for confession are: 
7:30-7:50 a.m. Tuesday and Friday
3:30-4:15 p.m. Saturday

A Parish Communal Penance Service will be held Sunday, March 14 at 3:00 p.m.

 

A Day of Grace     Thursday, March 18  Confessions will be heard before the 8:10 Mass at 7:30 and from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.  A priest will be present to hear confessions on the hour for whoever is present and until there are no other penitents at that time.  He will return for the next hour and hear whoever is present and so on.


Community Lenten Services
are scheduled at St. Peter's Lutheran Church at 12 Noon every Thursday during Lent, beginning on February 18.  Lunch follows the service.

  • 8:00 p.m. – The Easter Vigil

The celebration of Christ rising from the dead and the reception of the Catechumens and Candidates into the Catholic Church.  This is the third day of the Sacred Triduum when Christ rises from the dead.  The Easter sacraments are given to those preparing to enter this faith community.  Join them for this final step in their journey.

Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010

Masses are at 7:30, 9:15 and 11:30 a.m.  This day completes the Paschal Mystery, the Sacred Triduum, the holy days of Christ’s suffering, death and resurrection.  We who have entered into the suffering and death with Jesus Christ shall also celebrate His triumphant rising from the dead.
