Catholic Adult Education
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a ministry through which interested adults go through a process of conversion to Jesus Christ and an initiation into the Catholic Church. As a precatechumeate, adults meet informally as a group to learn more about Catholic tradition and beliefs. After the Rite of Acceptance, catechumens and candidates for full communion must attend the Sunday Masses for the liturgy and are dismissed to the Ministry Center to continue their reflection on the Gospel as a group. Those who are called to the Easter sacraments celebrate the Rite of Election on the first Sunday of Lent and full initiation at the Easter Vigil.

Natural family planning (NFP) is fertility awareness, which is simply knowledge of a couple’s fertility. It is a means of reading the body’s signs of fertility and infertility; applying this knowledge is over 99% effective in postponing pregnancy.

The two most common methods in the Toledo diocese are the Sympto-Thermal Method (STM) taught by the Couple to Couple League (CCL) and the Creighton Model Fertility Care System.
The CCL method is a simpler and quicker method to learn and is ideal for most couples.
CCL offers online self-passed classes or live in person classes taught regularly at our parish by a local couple.

The Creighton Model can be helpful for women who have cycle issues including PCOS, Endometriosis, heavy & painful periods and more

1 in 6 couples will experience infertility at some point in their marriage.
If you or someone you know is struggling with infertility and are looking for a different approach to medical treatment we are happy to share with you that there is a highly effective alternative to traditional medical procedures, such as IVF. This alternative is called  NaPro Technology. It doesn't violate our Catholic moral principals and it is 2 -3 times more effective than IVF for treating infertility.  We are blessed to have NaPro physicians in our area including a full NaPro Clinic.

This program is for parishioners in Grades 1-8 who attend area public schools. It seeks to enable students to grow in their relationship with Christ and his doctrine within the experience of Christian community. It prepares individuals for effective Christian witness and service. The program is held in the Elementary School each Sunday during the school year from 10:20 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. There is a fee to cover cost of textbook and materials used. Volunteers are always welcomed to teach these classes. The program coincides with the school year.
As a service to parents and their children, during the 9:15AM Sunday Mass, children are led forth from church immediately after the opening prayer to hear the Word of God proclaimed at their level of understanding. Here we strive to enrich the children’s liturgical experience of God’s presence in the ritual proclamation of the Word and ponder what it means in their lives. They return to church and their families during the Preparation of the Gifts. This liturgical offering is designed for children ages 5 through second grade. There is no registration or cost for the weekly sessions.
This program of early religious education is for children 3, 4 and 5-years-old. It introduces the preschool child to the Christian Community. The program takes place in the Elementary School during the 9:15 a.m. Mass. The program coincides with the school year.
Children up to 2-years-old are welcome to stay in a supervised room in the Elementary School while parents attend 9:15 a.m. Mass. The program coincides with the school year.
